In this update, improvements are available in the following areas:

  • Project Drill-Down while Analyzing Programs: Get a deeper dive into individual project performance with a streamlined drill-down capability. Program managers can now directly navigate to the Review Project Performance page from the Analysis page within Program Management. Based on Idea 658507 from the Project Management Idea Labs on Oracle Cloud Customer Connect.
  • Gain Deeper Insights with New Program Financial Measures for Billing: Stay on top of your program's financial health using measures added to the analysis work area:
    • Amount to Bill: This measure provides the outstanding amount yet to be billed for a program. This allows the program manager to proactively manage cash flows and ensure timely client invoicing.
    • Unpaid Invoice Amount: Gain insights into the total amount of unpaid invoices associated with contracts linked to single projects within a program. This measure helps identify potential payment delays and facilitates faster resolution.

  • Obtain a comprehensive view of your program's financial standing, with additional key metrics for billing.

Steps to Enable

To access the new measures in Analysis page for existing users, administrator should run the Update Project Performance Data process with the value $$RESET_PROGRAM_DEFAULT_PREFERENCE$$ in the From Project Number and To Project Number fields.

Access Requirements

Project Drill-Down while Analyzing Programs: The administrator must add the Review Project Performance (PJS_REVIEW_PROJECT_PERFORMANCE_PRIV) privilege to the existing Program Manager role along with relevant data security conditions to enable the drill-down functionality.
