Project Detail Updates for Joint Venture Transactions
Use a scheduled process to update project attributes for joint venture transactions from the corresponding Project Costing transactions in Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Management.
Joint Venture Management depends on supporting references to provide project information for joint venture transactions. This information is used to support the integration between Joint Venture Management and Project Costing. Setting up supporting references in the many different subledgers is a complex process and sometimes mistakes can happen. Some of the common issues are:
- Not setting up a supporting reference
- Misconfiguring or missing an event in a subledger
- Mapping the wrong supporting reference in the Joint Venture System Options
- Using the wrong source value when mapping a supporting reference for an event
Users should use this scheduled process only in exception cases when project attributes for joint venture transactions are incomplete or inaccurate due to configuration issues.
