User Experience

  1. Redesigned User Experience
  • DFCS now provides a redesigned UX with administration module being moved to left-hand navigation menu.
    • This enhancement provides consistent user experience in sync with other Oracle applications and enables users to access administration functions through a clear, structured hierarchy.
  • Application Connectors now display a warning if the connector level mappings are different from Glossary level mappings.
  • Entity – Relationship Diagram now allows the user to browse through the entities more naturally. The user can browse through Entities without losing the relationship between Entities while browsing.
  • Entities screen now displays SCD and Process Connector mappings
  • Glossary mappings UI now displays Mapped Business Terms by default. The user still has the option to filter for Mapped and Unmapped Business Terms.
  • Business Terms now displays other application glossaries in the Contextual Glossary tab.
  1. Context-Sensitive Help
DFCS now provides context-sensitive Help across key product areas.
The Help option directs users to the relevant product user-guide topic for the screen they are working on.
This enables users to quickly access applicable documentation without manually searching the user guide.
