Vessel's Identification and Screening
Oracle’s FCCM customer screening application now supports loading the vessel data obtained from watchlists like WorldCheck, Dow Jones, OFAC, and HMT as a separate entity type in addition to individual and entity.
Vessels can now be included or excluded from these watchlists during watchlist load and the screening process.
- From watchlist load pipelines, unchecking 'Vessel' from the watchlist data filter widget will prevent vessel data from being considered for matching
- From entity screening pipelines, user can exclude vessels by removing ‘Entity type=V’ from the watchlists (Target)
Treating vessels as a separate entity type will help our customers in deciding on inclusion or exclusion of vessels for screening based on the relevance of vessels in the screening process. Also, this will enable customers to maintain a separate set of configurations specifically tuned for vessel screening, if included in the screening process.
