Business unit and position in Redwood employment processes

Business Unit LoV in When and why step

Position LOV in When and why step

Position LoV in When and why step

This feature gives line managers and HR specialists the ability to select business unit and associated position in the When and why step instead of the Assignment step.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

  • The business unit and position attributes are read-only in the Assignment step. You can update these values only in the When and why step.

  • If you change the business unit on the When and why step the second time, then you need to visit the Assignment step as there may be attributes dependent on the business unit that become invalid on the change.

  • You need to select the position again if you change the business unit.
