Redwood Terminate Employment Flow Updates
The Redwood Terminate Employment flow has the following updates:
- Flex attributes don't have separate sections anymore. Flex attributes are included in the Termination Work Relationship Info and Termination Assignment Info fragments.
- While terminating work relationship with only one assignment, the Assignment info section isn't available by default anymore.
Default behavior of flex fields:
- Terminating work relationship with multiple assignments: Work relationship termination info section is required and enabled by default. To view work relationship flex attributes, you need to enable them in the Work relationship termination info section. Assignment flex attributes aren't applicable here.
- Terminating work relationship with single assignment: Work relationship termination info section is required and enabled by default. To view work relationship flex attributes, you need to enable them in the Work relationship termination info section. Assignment termination info section isn't enabled by default. To view assignment flex attributes, you need to enable the Assignment termination info section and enable assignment flex attributes also.
- Terminating assignment: Assignment termination info section is required and enabled by default. To view assignment flex attributes, you need to enable them in the Assignment termination info section. Work relationship flex attributes aren't applicable here.
Default behavior of the Assignment info section:
If an employee has multiple active assignments and you initiate the Terminate Employment flow to terminate the work relationship, the Assignment info section isn't enabled by default. If you initiate the flow to terminate an assignment, only then the Assignment termination info section is enabled by default and available. You can use business rules to enable the Assignment termination info section in Visual Builder Studio for all the scenarios.
Action Parameters in Business Rules:
If you have an Action Parameter in any of your configured Business Rules, you need to redefine the same rule or select the same action in the Action Parameter field.
These updates ensure consistent behavior of the application.
