Example of Defining Context-sensitive Content in a Guided Journey
In this example, we will define an External URL task type for a guided journey.
-
Go to My Client Groups > Journeys Setup > Guided Journey.
-
Click Create and provide the required fields such as journey name and code.
-
Click Add under the Tasks section and select the task type as External URL and provide a URL based on parameters as below:
-
https://host?name={value} where name is customer URL based and value can be the relevant parameter from the above table.
-
Example: https://host?ActionDate={Action Date}&ActionCode={Action Code}&PersonId={Person ID}&AssignmentId={Assignment ID}&ReasonCode={Action Reason Code}&JobId={Job ID}&LegalEntityId={Legal Entity ID}&BusinessUnitId={Business Unit ID}&PositionId={Position ID}
-
-
Go to the Redwood Change Assignment process.
-
From the Settings and Actions menu, click Edit Page in Visual Builder Studio to enable the guided journey in When and why section and Assignment section with the guided journey code specified earlier and the URL task code.
-
Specify and change details in the fields in the respective sections and check the values in the URL.
This feature enables you to add context-sensitive content in the Redwood Change Assignment process.
