Compensatory Plan Disbursements limited to Available Balance

The Cash Disbursements page now displays the compensatory balance available for discretionary disbursement. The system ensures that the disbursements are limited to this available amount. Here's how the available balance is calculated:

Available Balance = Balance as of the disbursement date - Balance consumed by future transactions

Additionally, to improve processing, when a person enters a negative balance adjustment, the application consumes the available amount on compensatory time earned transactions. The system first consumes the earned transaction that will expire earliest, and then to the oldest earned transaction date when no expiration date exists.

Discretionary disbursements from compensatory plans are now limited to only the available balance.
