Enable the New Self-Reported Potential Life Event Audit Report
Administrators can now use the standard audit reporting functionality to monitor Redwood self-reported life event activities. By supporting 19 key attributes, this feature allows you to track changes with greater precision, ensuring compliance with company policies and reducing the risk of errors or misuse.
These enhancements are now part of the Redwood self-report a life event pages:
- When you delete or purge the potential life event that was created for the self-reported life event, the self-reported event is also deleted.
- Change data audit is enabled for the self-reported life events for these actions:

With the audit report, you can track how the self-reported life event was deleted when an administrator deletes or purges the potential life event.
Enabling audit reporting for self-reported life events enhances visibility and accountability in benefits administration. This enhancement streamlines oversight, supports internal audits, and improves data integrity across the benefits process.

Steps to Enable
Here's how you enable the audit report:
- Navigate to Setup and Maintenance work area and search for Manage Audit Policies.
- Click the Configure Business Object Attributes button within the Oracle Fusion Applications region.
- Select Benefits as the product.
- In the Objects region, select the check box named Self-Assigned Potential Life Events.
- In the Actions menu, click Create and personalize the business objects to be audited, if needed.
- Save your changes.
To run the audit report, click Navigator > Tools > Audit Reports and follow the prompts. Ensure that you select Benefits as the product and Self-Assigned Potential Life Events as the Business Object Type.
Tips And Considerations
- You can enable or disable auditing anytime.
- Don’t enable auditing during the go-live or cutover window.
