Self-Paced Learning Enrollment Approval
Require approval when a learner self-enrolls or when a manager enrolls a direct report in a self-paced learning. Do this on the Rules tab of the self-paced learning, by editing the approval values in the new Enrollment section.
A Self-Paced Learning Configuration Page Showing Enrollment Approval Options
When approval is required, the learner sees a Request action instead if Enroll on the learning. When the learner or manager requests the learning, a worklist notification is sent to the approver set up in the Learning Request approval transaction. The approver can either Approve or Reject the request. While the approval is pending, the learner sees their enrollment with a Requested status and they can't do any other action for the learning.
This enhancement ensures that a learner can enroll only after receiving approval from the relevant approver.
