Google Workspace Integration for Interviews

Facilitate the scheduling of interviews with the Google Workspace integration.

If your organization enabled the Google Workspace integration, here's how you can use it for interviews:

  • When you create an interview schedule for a job requisition or when you schedule an interview for a candidate, when you select the web conference format, a new option is available: Enable Google Meet.

  • You can view the availability of interviewers when scheduling interviews for a candidate and when creating interview slots for the candidate to self-schedule.
  • When you modify scheduled interviews or interview slots, you can see the availability of interviewers to ensure you're rescheduling when interviewers are free.
  • Interviewers receive calendar events directly in Google. As those events are modified in Oracle Recruiting Cloud, events in Google are updated automatically.
  • You can view interviewer responses to Google interview invites when managing interviews. When calendar events are sent to interviewers, and the interviewers respond to the invite, meeting organizers can view the interviewer response in the interview details.
  • Interviewers and interview coordinators can define their preferred availability for candidate interviews in the My Availability tab. Preferred availability is used when inviting candidates to self-schedule their interviews based on the interviewers' availability (this is a Recruiting Booster feature). The system will propose to candidates time slots which are part of the preferred availability and for which interviewers are available in their Google calendar. For interviewers, their preferred availability is set in Me > Quick Actions > Show More > Interviews. For interview coordinators, go to My Client Groups > Quick Actions > Show More > Coordinate Interviews. Two options are available:
    • Use the default working days and my Google Workspace calendar availability: This is the default option. The default working days and working hours configured by your admin are used.
    • Use my preferred availability and my Google Workspace calendar availability: With this option, interviewers define their preferred availability for each day of the week. Interviewers can change their availability at any time.
