Securing the Delete and Submit Actions for Redwood Time Cards

Until now, if workers, line managers, or time and labor managers could edit time cards, they could also submit them. Now, if you don't want them editing time cards, you can still let them submit the time cards.

You can now control whether people can delete time cards from their Redwood Team Time Cards or Existing Time Cards page using the new privileges. And you can continue to restrict the time card Delete action to time cards with specific statuses and for specific ranges using worker time entry profiles.

These enhancements improve your ability to disable and enable submit and delete actions according to your time card policies.

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

Anyone who can't edit time cards and doesn't have the new privilege, won't be able to submit time cards.

These are the privileges needed to delete time cards. The delivered Time and Labor Manager, Line Manager, Employee, and Contingent Worker roles have these privileges. You need to grant them to any relevant custom roles.
