New Timecard Element

You can now create the Timecard element using the new element creation template to capture the overtime hours in Cloud India Payroll. This element is required for integration with Oracle Time and Labor and supports automatic balance feeds for:
•    Provident fund (PF) computation salary
•    Employee state insurance (ESI) computation salary 
•    Company accommodation valuation salary

Flexibility to decide if the overtime pay should be considered in calculation of Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance and Company accommodation valuation.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

To get the benefits of this feature, create a timecard element using this element template. 

1.    Navigate to My Client Groups > Payroll > Elements.
2.    Create the timecard element using the Elements task.

4.    Select Yes for the questions in Earnings Rules for the respective balance feeds to be fed. 
5.    Save the element.

When you run the payroll for the employees for the month, the earnings results are calculated based on the timecard values with the automatic balance feeds.
