Redwood Experience: Create a Candidate with Resume Parsing
Use resume parsing to create more complete candidate profiles faster.
When resume parsing is enabled, you have the option to upload a candidate’s resume when you create a new candidate. Once the resume data has been parsed by the partner, the data is displayed on the New Candidate page. The resume preview is also displayed so you can review and verify that the information is correct.

With this feature, users save time as they don’t have to manually enter resume information. They can also create more complete candidate profiles.
Steps to Enable
The resume partner integration must be enabled. For more information, refer to the Third Party Integration chapter in the Implementing Recruiting guide available on Oracle Help Center.
Tips And Considerations
- When the candidate is created, the resume used for parsing is included in the Candidate Attachments section. You don’t need to add it manually in the attachments section on the New Candidate page.
- There is an Exclude from import option that will omit parsed data in the Skills and Qualifications content sections when creating the candidate.
