Job and Position Descriptive Flexfield Database Items Supported for Rates-based Salary Calculations

You can now use Position and Job descriptive flexfield and Position descriptive flexfield database items in rates-based salary calculations. When these are used in value by criteria rate definitions, the proposed values can be detected on Global HR pages, such as Hire an Employee and Change Assignment.

• Position database items, such as PER_ASG_POSITION_NAME, PER_ASG_POS_POS_CODE, and PER_ASG_POS_ATTRIBUTE_CATEGORY
• Job descriptive flexfield database items, such as PER_ASG_JOB_ATTRIBUTE1, and PER_ASG_JOB_ATTRIBUTE2
• Position descriptive flexfield database items, such as PER_ASG_POS_ATTRIBUTE1, and PER_ASG_POS_ATTRIBUTE2

This feature lets you use Position, its descriptive flexfields and Job descriptive flexfield attributes in real-time salary calculations.
