Remove SMS and WhatsApp Messages Using the Remove Person Information Process

When you run the Remove Person Information process, you can now remove the following information for external candidates in Oracle HCM Cloud: 

  • Email, SMS, and WhatsApp messages 
  • Work summaries generated for all job requisitions associated with the candidate
  • Citizenship information 

Using this feature, when you remove an external candidate in the Recruiting application, you can remove additional personal data related to the candidate from the Oracle HCM Cloud database.

Steps to Enable

Before you run the Remove Person Information process: 

  • You must delete the candidate from the Recruiting application.
  • You need to configure the Configure Person Information Removal Policies process. When you create a template as part of this process, select the Candidate parent business object and the Candidate Citizenship child object in the Components section, as shown in this image. Work summaries, email, SMS, and WhatsApp messages are automatically included as part of the Candidate parent object. 
  • In the Rules section, enable the template you created.

  • Select the template you enabled and enter the candidate numbers as shown in this image.
