Redwood Time Card Enhancements
You now have more flexibility when managing your time cards. You can save, submit, or approve a time card from the time card page—even when the time totals drawer is open.
- These actions, when applicable, work in both the reported and calculated time views.
- With the time totals drawer open, you can still use key actions at the top of the page, like Save or Submit.
- Actions in the main time grid remain unavailable until you close the time totals drawer.

You can also ungroup time entries that display on the same row with more than two entries. Use the related action available at the row level.

And after you ungroup the relevant entries, you can record the appropriate time attributes for applicable entries.
Edit of Time Attributes for Ungrouped Entries
This enhancement makes it easier to finish tasks without extra clicks or closing windows, providing a better experience.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips And Considerations
- If no attribute is updated for the ungrouped entries, they're grouped again into the initial row when the time card is saved.
- You no longer get FYI notifications when a time card submission fails.
- If you submit your time card from the time card page and something goes wrong, you’ll see the error right on the page.
- If you’re submitting through a process, such as Mass Submit and Approve Time Cards, any errors appear in the log files.
