Redwood Time Card Extensibility Enhancements

Now you can configure Redwood time cards to include entry-level comments when you copy a previous time card or use Save Template and Apply Template actions. In Visual Builder Studio, use the Include Comments When Copying Time Cards and Saving Templates page property. When you create a template, entered comments will be saved if the option is enabled. These saved comments show up when you later apply that template.

You can also control if start times, stop times, or quantities are copied with your time cards or applied with templates. In Visual Builder Studio, use the Include Entry Times and Quantity When Copying Time Cards and Saving Templates page property.

These enhancements help boost both satisfaction and productivity because you update only what’s needed, making your time card a more accurate record of your current work.

Tips And Considerations

When using the Apply Template action to copy previously saved data, the entry level comments will only apply if the extensibility Page Property option was set to true when the template was saved.  For the Copy Previous Time Card action to include entry level comments, the extensibility option is set to true when the action is selected.  For the non application of Time Entries or Quantity on the target time card, the extensibility page property set to on the time card were saved when the Save as template action was completed.
