Default and Validate Field Values in HCM Redwood Calendar
You can enhance the UI by showing or hiding UI elements on a page using page properties. Page properties can be either labels or enumerated type. Refer to the description for a concise definition of what is extended using the page property. As part of this feature, we created these page properties:
- Advanced Scheduling (Me > Time and Absences > Calendar):
- Enable or disable Month View, Week View, Day View, and List View for the desktop as appropriate
- The default view is always enabled and all views cannot be hidden
- For mobile devices in the new Redwood interface, only month pull-down and list views are supported
- Person Header Configuration: Configure up to 4 person header slots with attributes, such as Business Title, Work Email, Person Number, Assignment Number, Job Name, Position Name, and Position Code
- Guided Journey Setup: Enable page-level journeys for Desktop Calendar and Mobile Calendar
- Team Tab Configuration: Configure which fields display for colleagues during shifts (Shift Type, Worker Name, Title and Job information, Shift start and end times)
This enhancement significantly improves organizational flexibility and user experience by letting administrators tailor the calendar interface to match specific business workflows and information requirements.
