Alerts for Legislative Data Updates

Predefined HCM alerts are available for you to use directly to monitor the status of the periodic legislative data updates for your country. The Run Legislative Data Updates flow is used to submit the periodic legislative data updates. The flow is automatically initiated as per the predetermined flow schedule date.

The alerts send FYI notifications or emails to flow owners to notify them the status of the flow, such as completed successfully, completed with errors, or skipped.

Use the Alerts Composer tool to enable and configure the alert notifications and also add recipients as per your requirements.

The predefined Status of Submitted Run Legislative Data Updates Flow event alert is available for you to use.

Steps to Enable and Configure

Use these steps to enable and configure the alert notifications. the alerts and enable display the HCM flow alerts on the Notification section of the flow pattern.

  1. Navigate to Tools > Alerts Composer from your Home page.
  2. On the Alerts page, search for the predefined Status of Submitted Run Legislative Data Updates Flows alert event. 
  3. Click Action > Edit to open the Edit Alert Events page.
  4. Select Yes in the Enabled field. 
  5. Under the Templates tab, and against the Notifications for Legislative Data Updates name, use the Edit drop down and select Manage Recipients and Message. 
  6. Click Add Recipient and select either Mail or Worklist. Add either email IDs of the recipients or usernames of the recipients. It's recommended that you select worklist and add the usernames of the recipients. It's recommended that you select worklist and add the usernames of the recipients.
  7. Click Apply and the Save and Close.

You can then verify that the HCM flow alerts are displayed in the Notifications section of the flow pattern.
