HCM Redwood Calendar Extensibility Enhancements
You can now tailor the Work Schedules calendar so that each shift displays the specific attribute most relevant to your organization and your team. This high-visibility event title is configurable for both claimed and scheduled shifts, making shift identification and daily planning quick and meaningful at a glance.
The event title display includes these supported options:
- Job profile name linked to the shift is resolved based on the scheduling group profile configuration, such as job name, position name, scheduling group, or job family name (default)
- Shift name, such as Evening Tech
- Shift type, such as On-Call
- Shift category, such as Day Shift
- Department name, such as Intensive Care Unit
- Location name, such as Northwest Tower
Workers can view their calendar to see the selected attribute, such as Event Title, for each claimed or scheduled shift.
This enhancement lets managers and workers quickly identify important shift details, reducing confusion and saving time when reviewing the schedule.
Steps to Enable and Configure
Go to Me > Time and Absences > Calendar, and in Visual Builder Studio, select the attribute you want displayed as the Event Title for all relevant shifts.
