Redwood: Hide Shared Goals and Organization Goals Already Added to Worker’s Goal Plan or Development Plan
If your administrator has enabled hiding of these goals that are already added to an employee’s goal plan or development plan, you won’t see them on the Explore tab and the suggested goals panel:
- Shared performance and development goals
- Performance organization goals
Business Benefit
Reduce the number of goals that are displayed on the Explore tab and the suggested goals panel and enable users to select relevant goals to add to an employee’s goal plan or development plan.
Steps to enable and configure
To enable Redwood Goals Center, you need to enable the profile options indicated in the table.

NOTE: The Performance Document, Check-in, and Goals Center features are closely connected. So, the Redwood version of these pages can all be enabled or disabled only using the common ORA_HRA_PERFORMANCE_DOCUMENTS_AND_GOALS_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option. These features can't be enabled individually.
For more information, see How do I enable a profile option?.
To hide already added goals on the Explore tab and the suggested goals panel, edit the respective pages in Visual Builder Studio and set the page properties indicated in the table to false.
| Edit Page | Property |
|---|---|
| Explore Goals | Show Shared Performance and Organization Goals That Are Already Added to Goal Plan |
| Show Shared Development Goals That Are Already Added To Development Plan | |
| Create/Edit Performance Goal Details | Show Shared Performance and Organization Goals That Are Already Added to Goal Plan |
| Create/Edit Development Goal Details | Show Shared Development Goals That Are Already Added To Development Plan |
Note: The page properties listed in the table are set to true by default.
For more information on how to do this, see How do I control the display of a UI element in Visual Builder Studio?.
Tips and considerations
These considerations apply when the feature is enabled:
- If approvals are enabled, you will continue to see the goal already added to the employee’s goal plan or development plan on the Explore tab and suggested goals panel until the changes are approved.
- Even though an employee or a manager deletes the added shared performance or development goal from the employee’s goal plan or development plan, it won’t be shown again on the Explore tab and suggested goals panel.
- After an added performance organization goal is deleted from the employee’s goal plan, the organization goal will be shown on the Explore tab and suggested goals panel.
