Enable new recommendations framework

You need to enable the new Recommendations framework, which has been available since release 25A. If the feature isn't enabled before you get the 26D update, recommendations will no longer appear in Oracle Learning.

Enable calendar events template

You need to enable the new Configure Calendar Event Body, which has been available since release 25D. If the feature isn't enabled before you get the 27C update, that update will automatically enable it.

Add back navigation on pages

Back navigation is now available on these Redwood flows:

  • My Client Group > Learning and Development > Learning Assignments
  • My Client Group > Learning and Development > Learning Assignment Profiles
  • My Client Group > Learning and Development > Learning Catalog

Columns on the unified Learning Catalog page

Columns on the unified Learning Catalog page now consistently display values for courses, offerings, and learning paths. This resolves an issue originally reported under the Unified Learning Catalog Administration and Access Control feature in the 25D release, where select columns appeared blank for certain learning types. Catalog visibility and data completeness are now fully restored.

The visibility filter on the unified Learning Catalog page now supports all learning types. This resolves an issue originally reported under the Unified Learning Catalog Administration and Access Control feature in the 25D release, where filtering applied only to self-paced items, enabling more consistent catalog navigation and targeted content management.

Replaced or removed features

From time to time, Oracle replaces existing Cloud service features with new features or removes existing features. When a feature is replaced, the older version may be removed immediately or at a future time. As a best practice, you should use the newer version of a replaced feature as soon as the newer version is available.

Learning specialists can generate learning catalog and assignment extraction reports by creating extract definitions, selecting business or extraction views, and running full or incremental extracts. They can run extracts on demand or on a schedule and download the generated output from Extract Jobs.
