Redwood Experience for Payroll Setup Pages
The following Payroll setup pages are now available in the Redwood user experience. Oracle Search for HCM is now integrated within these setup pages.
- Balance Exceptions
- Balance Exceptions and Reports
- Element Security Profiles
- Features by Country or Territory
- Organization Payment Methods
- Run Types
You can access these pages from My Client Groups > Payroll.

Steps to enable and configure
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips and considerations
All required profile options are enabled (set to Y) by default:
- Balance Exceptions: ORA_PAY_PAYROLL_BALANCES_REDWOOD_ENABLED
- Balance Exceptions and Reports: ORA_PAY_PAYROLL_BALANCES_REDWOOD_ENABLED
- Element Security Profiles: ORA_PAY_ELEMENT_SECURITY_PROFILE_REDWOOD_ENABLED
- Features by Country or Territory: ORA_PAY_LEGISLATION_CONFIG_REDWOOD_ENABLED
- Organization Payment Methods: ORA_PAY_PAYROLL_PAYMENTS_REDWOOD_ENABLED
- Run Types: ORA_PAY_PAYROLL_DEFINITIONS_REDWOOD_ENABLED

Access requirements
Access to these Redwood setup pages is controlled by the same security privileges that control access to the responsive setup pages. For information about existing security privileges, see Security Reference for HCM.
When you switch to the new Organization Payment Method Redwood page, you must update any custom job roles that currently provide access to this page. The custom job role must include both:
- Organization Payment Method Management Duty duty role
- Manage Organization Payment Method function privilege
By default, users who are granted the Organization Payment Method Management Duty duty role have access to all bank accounts.
To restrict access by legal entity using the Manage Data Access for Users task, you can create a custom duty role and policy in Security Console. In the policy, replace the AllRowsAllFields security view with MDALegalEntityRowsAllFields.
