Redwood Experience for Fast Formula
This feature replaces the classic Fast Formulas page with a Redwood user interface for searching, creating, and editing formulas. A new code editor makes formulas easier to read by colour coding formula statements.
Use the Fast Formulas page to find formulas by name or description, switch between Legislative Data Groups (LDGs), and filter formulas within a specific LDG.
To create a formula, enter a Formula Name and Fast Formula Type, then add a description and effective start date. You can add database items, functions, and global values to the formula text from the selection panel.
You can save formulas while keeping them editable, compile them to update their status, and submit them when you finish editing.

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips and considerations
- The Fast Formula page is enabled by default and controlled by the Enable Fast Formulas Redwood Page (ORA_PAY_FORMULAS_REDWOOD_ENABLED) profile option.
- You can't amend predefined (seeded) formulas.
- The Redwood experience doesn't include an Expression Builder.
