Expand Blind Sifting Controls Across Job Application Experiences
Configure conditional controls that hide candidate information in key job application and feedback experiences to support blind-sifting practices.
What you can do
- Hide candidate attachments, candidate names in resume preview headers, and address sections by using Visual Builder Studio conditions.
- Conditionally hide and reorder Messages tab sections by using Visual Builder Studio advanced mode.
- Apply the candidate name conditions in Visual Builder Studio to the Provide Feedback page and Request Feedback drawer headers.
Business benefit: This feature gives more control over how candidate information is presented during screening and feedback workflows. By reducing the visibility of identifying details in more parts of the Recruiting experience, organizations can better support fair-review processes, privacy requirements, and internal policy standards without relying on manual workarounds.
Steps to enable and configure
To control the display of these fields and sections in Visual Builder Studio, go to Recruiting > Hiring > Job Application.
- Candidate attachments on the job application details page
- Candidate name in the header of the resume preview drawer
- Address section in the candidate profile and job application
- Candidate name on feedback-related pages and request feedback drawer
For sections within the Messages tab use Visual Builder Studio dynamic container customization:
- In Visual Builder Studio, open the Job Application details page and select the dynamic container that hosts the candidate-messages fragment.
- Select Go to candidate-messages to open the fragment, then select Extension Rules and edit its rules by using cases.
- Use the path variable in conditions to define which Messages tab sections to show and their order for each page context, such as Job Application details.
