Automatically Process Job Offers with Add Additional Assignment Action for Employees with Multiple Assignments

Recruiting teams can automatically process a job offer with Add Additional Assignment action for an employee with multiple assignments when the ORA_IRC_AUTO_PROCESS_INTERNAL_OFFERS profile option is set to Y. When the offer moves to the HR phase, Oracle Recruiting copies the job-offer data to the employee’s new assignment without requiring manual processing in Manage Job Offers.

Recruiting teams can use this feature to:

  • Create the additional assignment from the job-offer data automatically.
  • Apply automation when the proposed worker type and legal employer match the employee’s existing assignments.
  • Eliminate the manual Manage Job Offers step for eligible internal offers.
  • Control automatic processing with the ORA_IRC_AUTO_PROCESS_INTERNAL_OFFERS profile option.

Try it out

  1. Create a job offer for an employee with one work relationship and two assignments.
  2. When the proposed worker type and legal employer match the employee’s existing assignments, select Add Additional Assignment.
  3. Move the offer to the HR phase. Oracle Recruiting creates the additional assignment from the job-offer data when automatic processing is enabled.

Business benefit: Streamline internal offer processing for employees with multiple assignments by automatically creating the additional assignment from job-offer data.

Steps to enable and configure

  1. Go to Setup and Maintenance > Search > Manage Administrator Profile Values.
  2. Set the ORA_IRC_AUTO_PROCESS_INTERNAL_OFFERS profile option to Y to automatically process eligible Add Additional Assignment offers.
