Enhance All-in-One Evaluations with Star Ratings, Read-Only Controls, and Modify Column Headers
Leverage the following enhancements in All-in-One Evaluations:
- Managers can view and provide performance ratings as stars in All-in-One Evaluations when the performance document uses star ratings. They can view employee, participant, target-proficiency, and calculated ratings, and see the rating-level description for each star.
- HR specialists can use Visual Builder Studio page properties to make an entire performance document or selected evaluation topics read-only. The topic controls support Performance Goal, Development Goal, Competency, Dynamic Skill, Questionnaire, and Overall Summary topics. When read-only, ratings, evaluation comments, and questionnaire responses remain viewable but can't be changed.
- HR specialists can also make the Submit, Bypass Employee Self-Evaluation, Return Self-Evaluation to Employee, and Calculate Ratings actions read-only.
- HR specialists can use the User Interface Text tool to modify the Performance and Proficiency column headers in All-in-One Evaluations without changing the same labels on other pages.
Provide a consistent rating experience while giving organizations precise control over when users can edit evaluations or take performance-document actions. Organizations can also tailor the Performance and Proficiency column headers for All-in-One Evaluations without affecting other experiences.
Steps to enable and configure
- Open All-in-One Evaluations and access Visual Builder Studio Express Mode.
- Configure the relevant page properties to make the performance document, evaluation topics, or actions read-only.
- Set a property to True to apply the read-only behavior, and use the supported contextual parameters to target the appropriate performance documents.
- To customize the Performance or Proficiency column header, enable a sandbox and use User Interface Text under Configuration to search for and update the specific All-in-One Evaluations string.
Tips and considerations
- The read-only page properties default to False.
- The Submit button isn't affected when the full performance-document page property is set to read-only.
- If more than 10 rating levels are configured, ratings display as a list of values in the grid and drawer rather than stars. Read-only ratings display as text.
