In the example below, the shipment being tendered is on a USA to CAN lane, in this case only two of the three Service Providers are feasible, Carrier02 and Carrier03.  Service Provider Carrier01 - is not feasible based on the Country Code Tender Constraints - as noted in the Infeasibility Reason provided for Service Provider Carrier01.

Business Benefit

This feature provides additional Open Tender controls for managing scenarios where your Service Providers have constraints on the lanes they support at a country code level.

Steps to Enable

In addition to setting the constraints on the Tender Constraints tab, you will need to set the property glog.tender.opentender.servProvRuleCheck to true for the tender compatibility checks to be performed.  The list of compatibility checks performed, in addition to the Country Code Tender Constraints, includes:

  • Equipment group of the shipment with the equipment group profile of the service providers
  • Special services of the shipment with the special services of the service providers

Again, the Tender Constraints are for Open Tenders - Spot Bid Tender and Broadcast Tenders.
