HERE Maps - HARP Engine Supported

This feature provides you with the option of migrating from the HERE Maps rendering engine type P2D to the new HARP mapping engine.   The HARP engine is the lasted engine supported by HERE and provides access to HERE's latest fixes and improved mapping user experience. 

This feature includes the following changes:

  • Logic Configuration RENDER ENGINE for HERE Map, allowing you to switch between P2D and HARP engines.

  • Map Parameters for you to toggle between P2D and HARP engines, with the default value in the logic config set to P2D.

  • When users switch to the HARP Engine, the incident layer will be activated.

Steps to Enable

The parameters and logic config properties are exclusive to HERE Map.

  1. The RENDER ENGINE for HERE Map, must be set to the HARP engine.
  2. The Map Parameters must be set to use the HARP engine. 
  3. The property here.useLatestApiKey must be set to true.
