Is Non Overlapping Stop Time Windows Relaxed - Property to Parameter

This feature supports the migration of the property - glog.business.consolidation.isNonOverlappingStopTimeWindowsRelaxed - from its current implementation as a property to its new configuration as a parameter - Is Non-Overlapping Stop Time Windows Relaxed -- Property to Parameter Migration.

Is Non Overlapping Stop Time Windows Relaxed Parameter

Is Non Overlapping Stop Time Windows Relaxed Parameter

With parameter Is Non Overlapping Stop Time Windows Relaxed set to true, and when the time windows on a stop with multiple orders do not overlap, OTM will not fail the time window compatibility check and no exception will be thrown. Instead, OTM will construct a relaxed time window using the union of all the time windows rather than an overlap of them.

This applies to the agent action ORDER RELEASE - MOD - PROPAGATE CHANGES before or after editing a shipment, or any other time window related planning actions such as Unassign Order.

The Default value for the parameter is false.

The property to parameter conversion feature provides you with more control for where the Non Overlapping Stop Time Window logic is and is not considered.  As a Property the logic is turned on or off at the instance level, the Parameter allows you to use the logic at different levels - like by domain.

Steps to Enable

To take advantage of this Parameter you will need to Opt In to the related Optional feature and then set the Parameter to true.

  • Go to the Optional Feature UI - Configuration and Administration > Property Management > Optional Features.

NOTE: Only the DBA.ADMIN user can access and use the Optional Features page.

  • Select the Is Non Overlapping Stop Time Windows Relaxed feature.
  • Run the Opt In Action
  • For your selected Parameter Set - set the Order Management Parameter to true.

Tips And Considerations

OTM considers this parameter only if the Optional Feature IS NON OVERLAPPING STOP TIME WINDOWS RELAXED is opted in.

If you are currently using the Property - we recommend moving to the Parameter from the Property.
