Location Involved Party - Location Name Replace Location ID

This feature provides you with the option to configure your Manager Layout to show the Involved Parties Location Name instead of the Location ID, which for many implementations, may not convey much information about the location being assigned as an involved party.

In the example below, the Order Release Manager Layout has been configured to show the Location Name instead of the Location ID.  The Location Name - in this example provides more information about the Location being selected than the Location ID.

By default, without the Manager Layout changes, the Involved Party Location list and saved value is done only considering the Location ID - as shown below.

This usability feature provides you with a more descriptive view to the Involved Party Locations being selected or assigned to your orders.

Steps to Enable

To take advantage of this new feature -you will need to modify your Manager Layout and replace the GID with the Location Name.  

Open the Manager Layout you wish to modify. Navigate to the Involved Parties Tab, select the Involved Party Location and then edit as shown below.

In the edit screen for select the Replace GID option and the Value to Replace GID to location/name (the only option) and select Save - as shown below.

With this this Manager Layout Configuration change - the Involved Party Location GID will be replaced with the Location Name.
