Optimize Putaway Operations with Enhanced Cart Support, Task Criteria, and Location Flexibility
You can now view cart numbers and their positions directly in the Container View, giving you better visibility and making it easier to manage allocations. You save time, eliminate manual tracking, and seamlessly resume tasks after interruptions without losing critical details, such as Putaway task improvements. You can instantly detect and resolve issues while scanning or moving items. Enhanced error notifications and tracking help you avoid misallocations and data loss. When creating tasks, you can easily resume interrupted tasks with fewer errors, ensuring real-time accuracy across all transactions.
The capacity indicator alerts you when a cart is full and automatically closes to prevent overloading. Cart data clears automatically once tasks or relocations are completed, removing outdated information. Additional validation steps prevent duplicate or incorrect moves, keeping your allocations accurate and consistent.
Now, during Putaway task creation, the system simplifies situations where some or all LPNs fail. When some LPNs fail, you’ll receive a message indicating the number of failed LPNs. You can resolve the issue by scanning a drop location, removing failed LPNs via the “Remove LPN Scan” screen, and ensuring successful ones remain in the cart. For single LPN failures, the system automatically removes the LPN from the cart upon scanning the drop location. If all LPNs fail, you can scan the drop location to remove them all from the cart automatically. Post-removal updates include de-linking the cart number and position, maintaining LPN allocations, updating LPN locations to the scanned drop location, recording an Inventory Movement (IHT 51), and creating a WMS activity log for the removed LPNs.
ALTERNATE LOCATION DETERMINATION DURING PUTAWAY CART
If storage locations are unavailable, you can quickly reassign items to alternate locations, allowing you to organize and store items without interrupting your workflow, even during unexpected storage issues.
