Enable Setting Sanction Status on Party
This optional feature when enabled sets the SANCTION status on the party. The following status values are available for the SANCTION status type: SANCTION_NOT STARTED, SANCTION_FAILED, and SANCTION_PASSED.
- If this optional feature is set to true, the SANCTION status will be updated when the Sanction Territory Screening action on Party is triggered.
- If there is a match, the SANCTION status will be set to SANCTION_FAILED.
- If there is NOT a match, the SANCTION status will be set to SANCTION_PASSED.
- If this optional feature is set to false, the SANCTION status does not change when the Sanction Territory Screening action on Party is triggered.
This feature provides the option to set a status for your party based on the results of your Sanction Territory Screening.
Steps to Enable
If you need to change the Opt In state for this feature:
- Go to the Optional Feature UI - Configuration and Administration > Property Management > Optional Features.
Your user must have the DBA.ADMIN user role to use this functionality.
- Select the Enable Setting Sanction Status on Party feature.
- Run the desired Action for the feature - Opt In or Opt Out.
Tips And Considerations
- Initially, existing parties will not have the SANCTION status value populated. Once this optional feature is enabled, you can run the Sanction Territory Screening action to update the SANCTION status value on your parties.
- It is recommended that you review the existing automation agents used for sanction screening to determine the impact of this optional feature on your process. If you are listening to lifetime events in your automation agents, you may be able to listen to status changes on the party instead.
- Another optional feature called SUPPRESS RPS AND SANCTION SCREENING EVENTS should also be evaluated since enabling it impacts the sanction screening process.
