Add Delete Shipment Cost Detail Table

This feature provides the option to add a New entry and/ Delete entries directly from your Shipment Cost Detail table. 

In the example below, the Shipment Cost Detail Table will have Shipment Costs added, modified and deleted. 

In the example below, the original Shipment table and the Detail table for  Shipment Cost are shown.  The starting Total Actual Cost is 550.30 USD.

A New cost for Insurance will be added to the Shipment Cost Detail table directly from within the Enhanced Workbench.  You initiate the add by select the + New icon as shown below. 

NOTE: The Shipment Cost Detail Table Parameters have been set to allow for both New and Delete.

  in this example, a Shipment Cost for Insurance for the amount of 250 USD is being added as shown below.

The result of the add is shown below - the Total Actual Cost is now 800.30 USD and a new Shipment Cost has been added for the Insurance Accessorial.

In the example below, the Insurance accessorial cost has been edited and reduced from 250.00 USD to 150.00 USD, which yields a Total Actual Cost of 700.30 USD.

In the steps below, the Insurance Shipment Cost Detail record is selected and deleted.

This feature greatly simplifies the process of reviewing and approving charges as part of your freight payment process by allowing you to easily add/delete shipment cost lines from your shipment cost detail table.

Steps to Enable

To take advantage of this feature you will need to create or modify your an Enhanced Workbench to allow for the editing of the Shipment Cost Detail table as shown below.

With the Table Parameters for the Show/Hide Toolbar Icons set as above - you will have access to the Icons for New and Delete for your Shipment Cost Table as shown below.
