Shift and Work Area Enhancements

We’ve made some thoughtful updates to how shifts are assigned to WMS Users to simplify your setup process and improve consistency.

Going forward, if no shift is chosen during user creation, the system will first check for a shift called "Default_Shift." If it exists, this shift will be assigned to the user. If not, a new "Default_Shift" will automatically be created with a start time of 8:00 AM and an end time of 5:00 PM (based on your facility time) and assigned to the user.

In addition, we’ve enhanced the Shifts screen to make it easier for you to search and manage shifts. The previous Start Time and End Time dropdowns in the search panel have been replaced with more flexible options:

• From Start Time
• To Start Time
• From End Time, and
• To End Time

This allows you to quickly narrow down and view shifts based on specific time ranges, making shift management faster and more convenient.
