Copy Data from Inventory to Exit Declaration
This feature allows you to copy data from your inventory to an exit declaration. When moving goods out of a Free Trade Zone (FTZ), you must create a declaration, which can then be submitted to customs. You can define a data configuration to specify which inventory data should be copied to the exit declaration.
Data Configuration
The data configuration defines which information is copied between objects. A new Association Type, "Inventory to Exit Line," is available, enabling you to specify the data to be copied, including:
- Inventory-Header: Specify the data to copy from the inventory to the exit declaration header, including flex field attributes.
- Inventory-Line: Specify the data to copy from the inventory to the exit declaration line, including flex field attributes, reference numbers, and values.

Trade Incentive Program
Once you've defined the data configuration, assign it to your trade incentive program. Two new fields are introduced:
- Exit Transaction Data Configuration ID
- Exit Declaration Data Configuration ID

Copy Data from Inventory using Perform Entry/Exit Recording Action
Once GTM is configured, data can be copied from the inventory to the exit declaration using the Perform Entry/Exit Recording action.
Business Benefit: This feature streamlines export operations by enabling you to automatically copy relevant data from your inventory directly to an exit declaration when moving goods out of a free trade zone (FTZ). By allowing to define a data configuration, you can specify exactly which data fields should be transferred, reducing manual entry and the risk of error.
Steps to Enable and Configure
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
