Shipment Group Tender
This feature provides you with the option of managing your Tender actions at the Shipment Group level, allowing you to Tender, Accept, Decline and Withdraw your Shipment Groups. This feature simplifies the process of managing tender offers for multiple related shipments by letting you manage the tender process at the Shipment Group level instead managing the process at the individual shipment level.
In the example below, the Shipment Group has been used to group three individual shipments all planned on the same vessel and voyage. The Shipment Group Tender will be used to book all three of the grouped shipments in a single grouped tender offer.

Running the Tender Group action will initiate the tender process for the group, as a single Tender Offer.

Before the Tender Group action is run, the Status for the Shipment Group - is Secure Ship Group Resources Not Started, as shown below.

The single Tender Offer for the Shipment Group, shown below in the email notification format, provides information at the shipment group and individual shipment level.

The Shipment Group Status Type Secure Ship Group Resources is set to Secure_Ship_Group_Resources -Tendered. once the Tender Offer has been sent - as shown below.

For Service Providers, where the Allow Shipment Group Tender option has been selected, Shipment Group Tenders will be managed using the Shipment Group Tender option, as shown below.

Below is the Shipment Group Booking/Tendering view - the view provides the Shipment Group header information, the shipments in the group and the option for the Service Provider to Accept or Decline at the Shipment Group level.

REST Shipment Group Tender
The Shipment Group Tender Accept and Decline are supported by the two Tenders actions, one supporting single Shipment Group Accept/Decline and the other supporting multiple Shipment Group Accept/Declines. Tendered Shipment Group Checks
Shipment Groups that are in a Tendered Status - Secure_Ship_Group_Resources - Tendered - are blocked from allowing the addition or removal of shipments to the Tendered Shipment Group.
In the example below, an attempt is made to add a shipment to a Tendered Shipment Group.

When the Add Shipments to Group action is run against a Tendered Shipment Group, the error message below is provided, and the selected shipment(s) are not added.

Business Benefit: This enhancement simplifies the tendering/booking process (and processing) required for communicating grouped shipment information to your Service Providers.
Steps to Enable and Configure
In addition to the standard prerequisites you will need to have in place for creating shipment groups including Shipment Group Rules, you will need to enable the Shipment Group Tender option for your Service Providers to use the Shipment Group Tender functionality. This is accomplished by selecting the "Allow Shipment Group Tender" check box option on the Service Provider UI - as shown below.

Tips And Considerations
Tendering at the Shipment Group Level DOES NOT systematically block you from Tendering the Shipments in the group individually. If you intended to take advantage of the Shipment Group Tender functionality, it is recommended that you configure your process (saved queries, agents, Manager Layout actions etc.) to ensure that Shipments in Group are Tendered/managed via the Shipment Group Tender actions - while your non-grouped independent shipments are tendered at the shipment level.
Note the action - Secure Shipment Resources - accessed via Shipment Management > Group Management > Shipment Group - tenders all the shipments in a shipment group as individual shipment tenders not as a shipment group tender.
Shipment Group Tendering, as you would expect - is designed to support ONLY Full Shipment Groups - Partial Shipment Groups are not supported.
