Use Improved Rating Rounding

This Optional Feature, when enabled, will have the application use the improved rounding approach that relies on decimal-based rounding. This avoids common 'tiny fraction' issues that can happen with small decimal intervals. When disabled: The system continues using the older rounding logic to preserve the current behavior.

Business Benefit: This feature helps you improve calculation consistency and reduce manual reconciliation caused by small decimal precision differences.

Steps to enable and configure

If you need to change the Opt In state for this feature:

• Go to the Optional Feature UI - Configuration and Administration > Property Management > Optional Features.

NOTE: Your user must have the DBA.ADMIN user role to use this functionality.

• Select the Use Improved Rating Rounding feature.

• Run the desired Action for the feature - Opt In or Opt Out.
