Enable ERE With Multiple Results

This Optional Feature, when enabled, will allow the application to send a rating request to an external rating engine with all the service providers and the rate services configured on rate offering. The application will evaluate the rating results returned for each combination of service provider and rate service. 

This feature is provided to support OTM's Rate Shopping feature, where a single rate request is configured to support multiple service provider and rate service responses.  For example, a single rating request to receive all of your parcel carrier expedited and overnight rate service options.

Business Benefit: The overall Rate Shopping feature enhances operational efficiency, reduces processing time, and takes advantage of capabilities provided by existing external rating solutions.  This feature, as part of the overall Rate Shopping feature, is provided as a rollback feature in the unlikely event there is an issue with the new Rate Shopping feature.

Steps to Enable and Configure

If you need to change the Opt In state for this feature:

• Go to the Optional Feature UI - Configuration and Administration > Property Management > Optional Features.

Your user must have the DBA.ADMIN user role to use this functionality.

• Select the Enable ERE With Multiple Results feature.
• Run the Action to Opt In to enable the feature, Opt Out if there is an issue with the enabled functionality.
