Support for array data type in segment output

Unity segments can now include personalization attributes of the data type array in their output. These attributes behave like any other attribute except the output column header cannot be changed; only the attribute ID is available as the header.

Business Benefits:

• Enables more sophisticated personalization scenarios (e.g., multi-valued tags, interests, or product lists) in segment exports.
• Increases expressiveness of segment data for targeting and downstream analytics.

Steps to Enable and Configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

• Plan downstream systems or integrations to handle fixed attribute IDs as column headers for array attributes.
• Validate the completeness and usability of array data for your personalization or reporting use cases.
• Currently, array output columns cannot have user-defined headers; only the attribute ID can be used.
