Fatigue Analysis contact modification change

When a contact’s fatigue level is updated in Eloqua, the system will no longer change that contact’s “date modified” field. Previously, any adjustment to the fatigue level would update the modification timestamp for the contact, potentially impacting how segments, triggers, or audits reliant on “date modified” behaved. This improvement ensures that only substantive changes to contact data will adjust the modified date, providing a clearer picture of recent data modifications and improving the accuracy of processes that depend on this field.

  • This allows for more accurate targeting and triggers for segments that incorporate date modified in their filters
  • Auditing changes to contacts will now be easier with fatigue analysis enabled, especially with the modification source and user in the Created/Modified by for Contacts controlled availability

Business Benefits:

  • Reduces false-modified dates.
  • Improves downstream segmentation and workflow logic
