To ensure advanced data protection and availability of backups, Oracle creates air-gapped daily maintenance snapshots in secondary regions. The paired OCI (Gen 2) regions that act as the backup site for each region is now documented in the OCI (Gen 2) Geographical Regions and Identifiers section of the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Cloud Operations Guide.
