Updates to Narrative Reporting Sample Content

Narrative Reporting provides samples to help you learn how to use Report Packages, Reports, Books, and Bursting Definitions.

The Narrative Reporting samples were updated with the following changes in the April (25.04) cloud updates.

NOTE: You need to redeploy the Samples to get the latest updates.

• Sample Application Year dimension members rolled forward to more current years.
• Report Packages and Reports were updated to reflect the Year dimension changes.
• For the new Shared Variables feature, created “Sample Variable List” to be used with Sample Report Packages.
• Updated Sample Report 13c to have the GenAI commentary displayed in the columns instead of the text box and changed the AutoTextSummary text function to utilize the new 25.03 features.
• Added two new reports and one new book for the book user support for prompts: Sample Report 14a, Sample Report 14b, and Sample Book 6.

NOTE: A service administrator must install Samples before you can access the sample content.

Business Benefit: The latest Narrative Reporting sample content highlights new features not included in the previous samples.
