Expanded Effective Date Management with Security

This enhancement introduces an Effective Date Correction Mode for fee schedule management in the Redwood Experience, providing greater flexibility and control over fee schedule versioning while maintaining strict security. The update allows only privileged users to modify effective dates and manage deletions:

• Enables correction of the effective start date in both fee schedule and parcel value setup pages.
• Deletion of current or historical rows, as well as start date edits, are enabled for privileged users only, with the PSC_MANAGE_EFFECTIVE_DATES_PRIV security privilege.
• Deletion of future-dated rows remains available to all users.
• Utility recalculates date ranges when changes occur and prevents duplicate start dates.

This feature allows customers to more easily control fee schedule versioning.

Steps to enable and configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Once you have the appropriate permissions, you can enable correction mode to manage the effective-dated rows.

Access requirements

User with security ‘PSC_MANAGE_EFFECTIVE_DATES_PRIV’ have the ability to enable correction.

• Update Effective Start Date
  • Enable for user with security
  • Display warning message
• Delete – Future Dated Row
  • Available for all users – No change
• Delete – Current or Historical Row
  • Enable for user with security
  • Display warning message
