Remove Classic Mobile Apps for Inspections
The legacy inspector mobile applications displayed using the classic user interface are now retired and removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Agencies will use the Redwood-based Inspector Application for Permits and Business Licenses and the Code Enforcement Inspection application instead of the older mobile apps, including the Oracle Inspector app and Oracle Municipal Code Officer.
Users who already have the legacy apps installed can still open the app and sign in. After authentication, the app downloads the updated package and displays a message indicating that the legacy mobile application has been upgraded to the Redwood Experience and is no longer available. Users are then directed to the new inspection application.
Business Benefit: A simplified, modernized mobile inspection experience with reduced support and maintenance for the retired classic mobile apps.
Steps to enable and configure
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips and considerations
The web version of the legacy mobile app for inspections is no longer available either, because all Redwood Experience features are now mandatory. For more information, see Mandatory Redwood Experience for all Redwood Features in this documentation.
