Enhanced Price Upload Error Logging

Beginning in Oracle CPQ 26A, an additional CSV-format upload error file is provided when errors occur during inline Price Model, Price Agreement, or Pricing Matrix imports. When an import error occurs, CPQ provides a log zip file. The log zip file contains a log file and a CSV upload errors file.

There is no change in the log file. If an upload fails, the invalid row numbers and a descriptive error message aid the user in correcting and successfully uploading the desired pricing.

The CSV upload error file only contains the records with errors for easier resolution of erroneous pricing records. The new CSV file is formatted to allow correction of errors for re-upload. Additional Upload Row # and Upload Error columns display the error information within the CSV file.

Pricing Administrators can quickly and easily correct pricing upload errors with minimal risk of errors with this "round trip" support.
