Billing of Coverages on ATO Model

Selling coverages on Assemble-to-order (ATO) model items from Order Management billed both the model item and the configured item created as assets in Installed Base/ Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM). This is now rectified by not billing the ATO model item's asset. The asset of the configured item is priced and billed. The coverage for the asset of the model item is not priced and billed.

1. The contract value in Subscription Management is the same as the Sales Order which sold the Subscription.
2. The customer is not billed double the amount for coverage on the ATO model.

Steps to Enable and Configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

1. If the model item or a component is asset trackable then the option class is also created as an asset in ALM.
