Redwood: Search and View Supplier ASN in Receiving
You can now search for advance shipment notices (ASNs) using the Supplier Shipment Number field within various Oracle Receiving pages to view expected and completed receipts with the associated supplier shipment number.
The ability to search for ASNs using the supplier shipment number is available on these Redwood pages:
- Inbound Shipments
- Expected Shipment Lines
- Awaiting Put Away
On the Inbound Shipments page, you can search for your inbound shipments by shipment, supplier, purchase order, transfer order, and supplier shipment number. The Supplier Shipment Number filter becomes available after selecting a supplier.
Inbound Shipments
On the Expected Shipment Lines page, you can search for expected shipment lines by the Supplier Shipment Number after filtering by supplier.
Expected Shipment Lines
On the Awaiting Put Away page, you can search for receipt lines that are awaiting put away by the Supplier Shipment Number.
Awaiting Put Away
This feature allows you to easily search for and view your expected and completed receipts that share the same supplier shipment number.
Steps to Enable
Follow these steps to enable or disable the Inbound Shipments page:
- In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search for and select the Manage Receiving Profile Options task.
- On the Manage Receiving Profile Options page, search for and select the ORA_RCV_INBOUND_SHIPMENTS_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option code.
- In the Profile Values section, set the Site level to Yes or No. The default value is No.
- Yes = enables the feature
- No = disables the feature
- Click Save and Close. Changes in the profile value will affect users the next time they sign in.
Follow these steps to enable or disable the Inbound Shipments page in the Supplier Portal.
- In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search for and select the Manage Receiving Profile Options task.
- On the Manage Receiving Profile Options page, search for and select the ORA_RCV_INBOUND_SHIPMENTS_SUPPLIER_PORTAL_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option code.
- In the Profile Values section, set the Site level to Yes or No. The default value is No.

- No = disables the feature
- Click Save and Close. Changes in the profile value will affect users the next time they sign in.

- On the Manage Receiving Profile Options page, search for and select the ORA_RCV_EXPECTED_SHIPMENTS_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option code.
- In the Profile Values section, set the Site level to Yes or No. The default value is No.
- Yes = enables the feature
- No = disables the feature
- Click Save and Close. Changes in the profile value will affect users the next time they sign in.
Follow these steps to enable or disable the Awaiting Put Away page.
- In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search for and select the Manage Receiving Profile Options task.
- On the Manage Receiving Profile Options page, search for and select the ORA_RCV_AWAITING_PUTAWAY_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option code.
- In the Profile Values section, set the Site level to Yes or No. The default value is No.
- Yes = enables the feature
- No = disables the feature
- Click Save and Close. Changes in the profile value will affect users the next time they sign in.

Tips And Considerations
- Expected Shipment Lines is the new Redwood page for the Receive Expected Shipments page.
- Awaiting Put Away is the new Redwood page for the Put Away Receipts page.
- You can navigate to the Awaiting Put Away page from the Received Lines menu entry.

Access Requirements
Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these privileges can access this feature:
- Manage Inbound Shipment Using Responsive Receiving (RCV_MANAGE_INBOUND_SHIPMENT_PWA)
- Manage Inbound Shipment as Supplier Using Responsive Receiving (RCV_MANAGE_INBOUND_SHIPMENT_AS_SUPPLIER_PWA)
- Receive Goods Using Responsive Receiving (RCV_RECEIVE_GOODS_USING_RESPONSIVE_RECEIVING_PWA_PRIV)
- Put Away Goods Using Responsive Receiving (RCV_PUT_AWAY_GOODS_USING_RESPONSIVE_RECEIVING_PWA_PRIV)
The last two privileges are new in this update.
