Redwood: Manage Shipping Parameters Using a Redwood Page

You can use shipping parameters to create and confirm a shipment, and define how Oracle Shipping interacts with Oracle Inventory Management. You can now manage your shipping parameters using a Redwood page by defining parameters that match your business process, thereby ensuring a smooth fulfillment of operations in your warehouse.

You can access the Shipping Parameters task from the Setup and Maintenance work area.

Using the new Shipping Parameters page, you can complete these activities for your organization:

• View existing shipping parameters
• Create new shipping parameters
• Update current shipping parameters

This feature enables you to manage your shipping parameters with an improved user experience.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

In the Setup and Maintenance work area, the Redwood version of the Shipping Parameters page is enabled by default in this update, but the existing version of the Manage Shipping Parameters page is still available in the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Materials Management offering. You should move to the Redwood version of the page at your earliest convenience, because the existing version of the page will be removed from the application in a future update.

• Manage Shipping Organization Parameter (WSH_MANAGE_SHIPPING_ORGANIZATION_PARAMETER_PRIV)
